Birds can transmit diseases, particularly nasty ones such as SARS, and Salmonella which is a severe form of food poisoning. The Salmonella bacteria can be found in the bird droppings and also in the eggs of infected Birds.
Fungal airborne diseases are also a problem with infected birds and we can develop quite serious illnesses not unlike a severe form of flu.
Birds can offer a safe haven for fleas and bird mites. The fleas and mites are feeding off the birds in their nest and when the birds leave their nest these little predators come searching for us. The bites from Bird Mites can be quite painful and flea and mite populations can build up very quickly.
Birds can also foul buildings and footpaths with their droppings, this can present a safety hazard and possible legal consequences for building owners.
Birds can gain entry into Factories, particularly food related ones, and spoil and contaminate a significant amount of food. Birds have also been documented to have brought down commercial air planes with a phenomena known as bird-strike.
One of most invasive species of pest animals is none other than the 'Pigeon' better known as the flying Rat.
Swooping Birds can be a frightening experience! Most common species are the Australian Magpie or Masked lapwing "Plover" to name a few. However, not all birds swoop. Swooping birds generally occurs early spring, the reason why they do this is to protect their eggs or young should an intruder venture to close to the birds territory.
Another problematic native species to Australia is none other than the 'Seagull' or the 'Sulphur Crested Cockatoo'.

All native birds are protected under the Wildlife Act 1975 and there are serious penalties for taking, harassing or injuring native wildlife. It is illegal to kill birds, or to interfere with their nests containing eggs or young without a permit or authority.
We recommend you do not feed birds on a regular basis, this encourages dominance over other species of birds which can have a detrimental impact to their existence.
Unsustainable Bird Populations can
Bird control is very stringent any person found to be negligent of those conditions with or without the appropriate license or permits when engaging in bird control may face heavy penalties. Effective bird control should be carried out by an experienced and licensed pest control technician or commercial operator and we are experienced in this field.
Bird removal from a building can be quite complex when population sizes are unsustainable and invasive. Control methods usually work better in combination with a variety of techniques. A thorough inspection is paramount in understanding your bird problem.
We identify the target species, their status, the size of infestation, the GEO situation, health and safety risks and qualify effective control and proofing measures to have a bird free home or work place, whilst promoting the animals welfare at all times.
Bird Control Systems and methods we commonly use are
We deal with a number of Bird species problems everyday from the average household to your large commercial or Rural premises. We have a range of solutions to aid in their deterrence and reduction in numbers so, let us tailor a solution for you today.

Unsustainable Bird Populations can
- Damage buildings or infrastructure (e.g. houses, factories, sports grounds, fences, dams).
- Threaten human safety (e.g. aggressive wildlife, swooping birds, vehicle/aircraft collisions).
- Damage crops and produce (e.g. damage to cereal, grain, fruit, vegetable, flower crops).
- Damage to the natural environment (e.g. damage to re-vegetation sites, degradation of natural habitats in a manner that poses a threat to biodiversity).

One of our latest rooftop netting installation requirements was to physically exclude hundreds of Seagulls and Pigeons from infesting a commercial Two Story building on the Peninsula as pictured below. This consisted of erecting and covering an area of 6400 sqr mtrs with various elevations, service points and appliances. Using 1.2kms of Stainless Steel Cable and hardware with 32 Elevation poles erected on 10mtr grids and 17,500 Stainless Steel Hog Rings Staples to fasten the 50mm netting to the grid.
Very low profile from street view, 100% physical exclusion, humane, environmentally friendly and serviceable to other trades and services.
